Malibu Barbie

I am a Barbie girl…and we are in a Barbie world! There is so much buzz around the new Barbie movie and I was inspired to make this delicious hot pink cocktail!

For this cocktail, we are not actually using Malibu (If you know me, you know why). We are using the good stuff - Shipwreck Coconut Rum. This Barbie drink gives off serious vacation vibes, and a little insider info - this is actually my Coconut Crush Cocktail with a little Barbie twist!

This cocktail uses my homemade Grenadine Syrup which you can purchase from my website here. Grenadine is going to give the cocktail that Barbie pink color we all know and love. 

MALIBU BARBIE

• 2oz Coconut Rum

• 2oz Coconut Cream

• 0.5oz Cointreau 

• 0.5oz Grenadine

• 0.5oz Lemon Juice

• Pink Sugar (Rim)

• Pink Edible Glitter

Rim a coup glass with lemon and pink sugar to really give the Barbie feel.

Add ice to your cocktail shaker and begin pouring all of your ingredients in starting with your coconut cream. For that extra Barbie sparkle, add some edible pink glitter and shake for 30 seconds.

Double strain the cocktail into your coup glass and enjoy the instant vacation feeling you get from drinking this Malibu Barbie!
