Bourbon Peach Milkshake

I am a Barbie girl…and we are in a Barbie world! There is so much buzz around the new Barbie movie and I was inspired to make some delicious cocktails!

I loved the Peaches & Cream Barbie doll - I even HAD the Peaches & Cream Barbie doll. If I was a Barbie, I would be a Bourbon Peach Milkshake which is exactly what we are making today. 

The Apricot Liqueur and Peach Syrup in this recipe are both not 100 percent necessary, but they do add that extra dimension to the drink. P.S. - There might be a new syrup coming to Savidge Kitchen Provisions…any guesses?!

PEACHES & CREAM BARBIE

• 2oz Bourbon (I used Noble Oak)

• 1oz Apricot Luxardo Liqueur

• 0.75oz Peach Syrup 

• 1.5 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream

• 1 Peach (Extra Ripe)

• 1 Scoop of Ice

Add a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream to a blender or nutribullet. Cut your peach in half and set two slices aside for the garnish. Roughly chop the rest of the peach and add it to your blender. Add a scoop of ice, along with all of the remaining ingredients.

Blend until smooth and then add to a tall glass. Garnish with one of those peach slices and enjoy!
