Bourbon Eggnog

This homemade no cook eggnog couldn't be easier! For this recipe, I used Bourbon, but eggnog is also good with Rum and even Vodka in the holiday favorite - An Eggnog Martini. This recipe makes about six to seven servings (depending on how you like to pour).

BOURBON EGGNOG

  • 4 Eggs (Separated)

  • 2 C Whole Milk

  • 1 C Heavy Cream

  • ⅓ C + 1 tbs Sugar

  • 4oz Bourbon (I used Noble Oak)

  • 1 tsp Nutmeg

In two large bowls, separate four eggs. Set the egg whites aside. Using a hand mixer, beat the yokes and slowly add in the ⅓ cup of sugar. Once the sugar is dissolved, begin adding in your milk, heavy cream, and bourbon.

Next, grab your egg whites and begin mixing them with 1 tbs of sugar until the mixture forms stiff peaks. Add your egg whites to the yolk mixture and whip them both together. Add your nutmeg and mix until just combined.

Pour into a large container and store in the refrigerator. Happy holidays!
