Ancho Mama

Well, another challenge means another new cocktail from Savidge Kitchen! This spicy cocktail recipe is my hat in the ring, and damn is it good. The heat of the ancho chili plays perfectly with the sweetness of the macadamia nut liqueur, and then we've got a little bit of smoke from those amazing Hella Cocktail Bitters (you can find them here: https://amzn.to/361dPah​)


Ancho Macadamia Cocktail:

  • 2oz Spiced Rum

  • 1oz Trader Vics Macadamia Nut Liqueur

  • .5oz Ancho Reyes Chili Liquere

  • 3 dashes Smoked Chili Bitters

  • Squeeze of Lemon

  • Ground Cinnamon Rim



Ancho Reyes is a wonderful spicy liqueur. Made with ancho chilies, this Mexican liqueur is worth giving a try!
