Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini

Pumpkin Spice - Yeah. We went there. And honestly, I've never been one to get excited over PSL season, until we made our own syrup. And it wasn't easy. Most of the commercially available syrups I've tasted are heavy on the spices and preservatives, and barely have any pumpkin. Ours legit tastes like Pumpkin Pie in syrup form, and it's because we use real organic ground pumpkin. It's stupid good. I'm now a convert- PUMPKIN SPICE EVERYTHING. Also, this drizzled over bread pudding? Excuse me, I need a moment to compose myself... There are a million recipes for pumpkin spice cocktails, but lets start with the most obvious, the PS Espresso Martini:

  • 2oz Mr Black

  • 1oz Vodka

  • .5oz Pumpkin Spice Syrup

  • 2 dashes Chocolate Bitters

Shake all ingredients vigorously over ice, then strain into coupe and enjoy!

Notes: if you are unable to get Mr Black, I recommend using 1oz espresso, and 1oz of whatever coffee liqueur is available to you. Also, if you want to really step things up, replace the vodka with cognac and thank me later.
