Mrs. Black
Mr Black, let me introduce you to Mrs. Black. This dark smoky cocktail ends up being surprisingly subtle, considering the bold ingredients: Scotch, Coffee Liqueur, dash of orange bitters, a Spiced Syrup.... oh, and just a touch of cinnamon smoke. Because where there's smoke there's fire, and honestly, what kitchen is complete without a some fire? ;) So find yourself a good book, and sip on this Mr. Black coffee cocktail of coffee, whiskey & cinnamon smoke. Cheers!
2oz Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
1oz Monkey Shoulder Scotch Whiskey
1/2 oz Spiced Syrup (recipe below)
3 Dashes Orange Bitters
2 Cinnamon Sticks
Smoking: Break Cinnamon sticks in half, and place on a fire safe surface. Use culinary torch to set sticks on fire, and extinguish flame with the glass you'll serve the cocktail in. Let smoke settle in glass while you prepare the cocktail. BLOW TORCH (trust me, you want one: https://amzn.to/2MG8m1J )
Mixing: Combine all ingredients in mixing glass. *Tip- allow simple syrup to come to room temperature if stored in the fridge.
