After the tasting from a couple weeks back, I've been excited to come up with a Green Chartreuse Cocktail! For a St Paddys day Cocktail, Chartreuse Whiskey and Mint go together like peas n carrots n peas again. Irish Tea cocktail recipe is a nod to my Irish grandfather who loved all things French, including Green Chartreuse cocktails. This Irish Cocktail recipe is green, has Irish Whisky, (Jameson, to be precise) mint, and a lucky green egg to boot- what more can one ask for?? Now go kiss yer blarney stone, and be proud that for one day, everyone is Irish.

IRISH TEA RECIPE:

  • 1oz Irish Whiskey (or Whisky ;))

  • 2oz Green Chartreuse

  • 1oz Apple Juice

  • .5oz Lemon Juice

  • 1oz Mint Simple Syrup

  • 1oz Egg White (or foaming agent substitute)

Dry shake all ingredients before adding ice and shaking for 30+ seconds. Strain into your favorite glass, garnish with fresh mint and go kiss someone who's Irish!
