Bourbon Brownies

Embrace the essence of fall with these indulgent bourbon brownies, baked to gooey perfection. As you sink your teeth into these chocolatey delights, the warmth of bourbon infuses every bite, creating a cozy symphony of flavors.

BATTER

  • 2 cup Sugar

  • 1 cup Flour

  • ½ cup Cocoa Powder

  • ½ cup Chocolate Chips

  • ½ cup Oil

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 oz Bourbon

TOPPING

  • ½ cup Powdered Sugar

  • ½ cup Cocoa Powder

  • 2-3 oz Bourbon

Mix dry ingredients, then wet ingredients, then combine. Pour batter into greased 8x8 pan, bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean. Let cool before adding bourbon drizzle.

For the drizzle, whisk together powdered sugar, cocoa powder and bourbon, and spoon over cooled brownies. Let the glaze harden before serving.

Chef’s Tip: Adjust the bourbon in the glaze to your tastes! More Bourbon will make for a more liquidly (and delicious) glaze.
